Please read these Terms of Service before using Family Chore Chart Pro. By downloading, installing, or using the app, you agree to these terms.
1. Description of Service
Family Chore Chart Pro is a family chore and allowance management app. It lets parents create and assign chores, review completions, manage allowance balances, track savings goals, and provide a simplified Kid Mode experience.
2. Family Data
Family Chore Chart Pro does not require a developer account. Your family data is stored locally on your device. Widgets and Apple Watch companion features can use Apple's local app group and companion-device mechanisms to display app data. CloudKit/iCloud sync is not enabled in the current build.
You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered into the app, protecting your devices, and keeping your parent PIN confidential.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Family Chore Chart Pro offers premium features through App Store purchases:
- Monthly Subscription: $3.99 per month
- Yearly Subscription: $24.99 per year
- Lifetime Purchase: $59.99 one-time payment
Subscriptions are processed by Apple. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use Family Chore Chart Pro only for lawful family management purposes. You agree not to misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access to app systems, reverse engineer the app, or use the app in a way that harms or exploits minors.
5. Children's Use
Family Chore Chart Pro is designed for family use under parent or guardian supervision. Parents and guardians are responsible for appropriate chore assignments, app setup, supervision, and any allowance or payout decisions made outside the app.
6. Intellectual Property
Family Chore Chart Pro and its original content, features, design, and functionality are owned by Shankar and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
7. No Financial Advice
Allowance values, savings goals, bonuses, penalties, and payouts are family management tools only. Family Chore Chart Pro does not provide financial, legal, tax, or parenting advice.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
Family Chore Chart Pro is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, including warranties that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every family situation.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shankar is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the app, including loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
